The Full Story

About

My life's path has always been enriched by music and singing. From learning the piano and performing in school musicals to singing in the choir, music has been a constant source of joy and inspiration. I also have a deep passion for the arts, cooking, photography, and architecture, finding beauty and creativity in both the natural world and the spaces we inhabit.

Drawn to holistic health, nourishing food, and the wisdom of nature, I have spent many years exploring food the outdoors through mountain walks and quiet moments in nature - experiences that have shaped my understanding of balance, growth, and creating one's own path.

My professional journey began in health care and a career in dental practice before retraining in Chinese Medicine. It was during my acupuncture training I discovered the use of tuning forks on acupuncture points an alternative to needles, a topic I explored in my dissertation. After seven years of practicing acupuncture I fully embraced the transformative path of sound therapy, weaving together my knowledge, wisdom, and experience to create a unique healing approach.

Mission

At The Art of Tao my work is rooted in the Tao, the natural flow that underlies all life. I see my role not as directing someone's path, but as walking alongside them-offering Sound Therapy, Facial Gua sha and Mindful Rituals that help each person reconnect with their own natural flow.

I also guide people to a deeper understanding of their own health and well-being, helping them observe their body, mind, and energy with clarity. Each experience is an invitation to slow down, restore balance, observe, reflect, reconnect, and move through life with greater ease, vitality, and peace.

Vision

My vision is to guide and help each person discover their own path, where clarity, balance, and joy flow in harmony with themselves and the world around them.
